Trevor Williams is the former chief economist of Lloyds Bank. His extensive experience covers financial markets, econometric modelling, banking markets, analysis of the UK and global economy and financial market risk. Topical issues such as global trade, the housing market, demographics, the fourth industrial revoluBon, ‘big’ data, long term global mega trends and the future of manufacturing are areas he has focussed on.

Trevor runs his own consultancy and is co-founder of FXGuard, a fintech based risk management tool for SMEs to manage foreign exchange risk exposure. He is visiBng Professor at the University of Derby and rotaBng Chair of the IEA’s Shadow Monetary Policy CommiRee. He is author of Trading Economics and writes a monthly column in Moneyfacts.
