Lydia Prieg

Lydia is Head of Economics at the New Economics Foundation (NEF), and overseas NEF’s programmes of work on macroeconomics, tax policy, industrial strategy, and channelling private finance into green investment. Before joining NEF, Lydia completed a PhD in Land Economy at the University of Cambridge, where her thesis explored the potential impacts of climate change on GDP and inequality. Prior to that she was a Private Sector Policy Advisor at Oxfam, a Researcher in Financial Reform at NEF, and an Analyst at Goldman Sachs.
