Dr Anubhav Choudhary is specialising in climate finance analytics at the UK CGFI Leeds Innovation Hub, University of Leeds. With over a decade of research experience in climate science, he is currently focusing on evaluating climate data for financial analytics, particularly within UK CGFI’s initiatives on pensions and asset management. His present work involves translating high-impact, low-likelihood hazard events into multi-sectoral risk assessments.

Anubhav was a postdoctoral researcher at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology in Germany, where he worked on understanding extratropical weather systems. He obtained his PhD from India where his research was on assessing monsoon simulations. During PhD, he also received the prestigious DAAD fellowship from the German government, to work as a visiting researcher at the University of Wuerzburg, Germany.
