Mark Fell KC is a barrister at Radcliffe Chambers, with a specialism in consumer finance and building society law. His practice combines advocacy in courts and other venues, with advisory work on policy infused legal questions.
From the overdraft charges litigation to building society mergers during the credit crisis to the transfer of consumer credit regulation to the FCA, Mark has played a key role in some of the most important developments in law and regulation affecting building societies over the last 15 years. As well as representing building societies and other financial institutions, Mark has done a number of key cases for regulators.
He is one of the editors of Wurtzburg & Mills, the leading textbook on building society law and co-authored the text book Retail Mortgages.
Mark holds an undergraduate degree from Corpus Christi College, Cambridge and a masters from the London School of Economics.
