Juanjo Llopis Rodríguez

Juanjo Llopis Rodríguez, currently the Director General of Group Caja Ingenieros since January 2025, holds a degree in Economics and Business Administration.

He has built a career spanning over 25 years in the financial sector, including banking, savings banks, public banking, and cooperative banking. Throughout his career, he has held various positions, such as Director of the Risk Monitoring and Management Area at the Catalan Institute of Finances, the public financial institution of the Generalitat de Catalunya; Director of the Credit Investments Area at Banc Mare Nostrum and Caixa d’Estalvis del Penedès; as well as Corporate Manager, Director of Investments, and Director of Risks and a member of the Executive Committee at Grup Bankpyme. Additionally, he served as a Corporate Manager at Banesto.

Llopis joined Caja Ingenieros in 2017 as Director of the Business Area and a member of the Executive Committee. Before his recent appointment, he served as Deputy General Director and Director of the Business and Member Services Area, overseeing the entire branch network and non-branch channels since 2021.

As an economist, he has extensive experience in the financial sector, specialising in both analytical and executive roles in investment areas. He is also skilled in strategic advisory and negotiation for financing, investment, and divestment operations across various portfolios and financial products.
