Iain Lister is the IT & Change Executive at Mansfield Building Society, where he leads technology and change across the organisation. He is responsible for setting and delivering the Society’s technology and change strategy and is also the Transformation Director for its core banking replacement, covering mortgage and savings origination, core banking, data and system integration.

Since joining the Society in 2022, Iain has overseen a wide ranging programme of technology and business change. This has included the modernisation of the Society’s technology platforms, infrastructure, networks and security, the strengthening of service management and portfolio governance, and the design, build and maturity of the IT and change function. Alongside these foundations, he is leading a major core banking transformation focused on improving customer journeys, resilience, and long term flexibility for members.

Iain has over 20 years’ experience in heavily regulated financial services, having held senior leadership roles at HSBC, Fidelity International, PwC and the London Stock Exchange. He brings deep experience in leading complex change at scale, with a strong focus on operational resilience, regulatory alignment and delivering sustainable, long term value for members.
