Emily Wilson is Head of Home Ownership Strategy at the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG). The Ministry is central to the mission-driven government, from fixing the foundations of an affordable home to handing power back to communities and rebuilding local governments. The government is committed to helping more people to realise their ambitions of owning their own home.

A policy professional with over a decade’s experience working in the Civil Service, Emily currently works on the government’s strategy for home ownership in England, including responsibility for Shared Ownership. Prior to joining MHCLG, Emily worked in a variety of roles at the Department for Education.
