Anna has worked in the financial services industry for 30 years and for most of that time she has been helping people to make the most of their cash savings. She started her career with Independent Financial Adviser, Chase de Vere, in its innovative Moneyline department. Anna believed savings advice was a neglected part of the financial services sector, and savers’ needs were largely ignored by savings providers and the Government. As a result, she set up Savings Champion in 2011, part of Chartered Financial Planner, The Private Office, offering free information and guidance for savers plus a paid for advisory option for those needing more assistance. Anna continues to be a regular contributor to the BBC’s Money Box, Breakfast and News programmes and was recently a finalist for the prestigious Headline Money Financial Expert of the Year 2019 award. She has also been nominated for the Women in Financial Advice award and named as one of 2109’s Top 100 West Women of the Year.
